OFFSITE COURSE: Viking Drypoint with Collage
Nottingham Lakeside Arts
University Park, Nottingham NG7 2RD
|Date & Time||Sunday 3rd December
10.00am - 4.00pm.
This offsite course is taking place at Nottingham Lakeside Arts.
Inspired by the designs and images of the Viking exhibition taking place at Lakeside Arts, create unique drypoint engravings illuminated with the application of collage. In drypoint engraving, lines are scratched into a printing plate using a needle to create a burr which holds ink. The plate is then inked up and printed to create an original print with characteristic rich lines.
This is a great course for beginners or those looking for a refresher.
