Monoprint is a single printing of an image incapable of being identically printed again. During this course you will learn various monotype processes, creating one off, experimental, colourful images.
We will be exploring manipulating ink on the surface of a plate using brushes and rollers, drawing, painterly marks and printing the plate on damp paper using a press.
The workshop will also cover experimenting with printing several layers of colour and using cut or torn paper stencils to make exciting and unique prints.
