LAKESIDE: Stencil Monoprints

Using stencil monoprint to create, overlapping colour mixing abstract forms inspired by the Bauhaus exhibition. Layered images and structured patterns will be used to design your monoprints.

This course runs alongside the Homage to the Bauhaus: The Jack Kirkland Collection exhibition (2nd March to 2nd June).

About the Tutor

Nichola completed her BA (HONS) Fine Art Printmaking degree at Manchester Metropolitan University (2005) and a PGCE Postgraduate Teacher Training at Nottingham Trent University (2011). Based in Nottingham, Nichola is Leicester Print Workshops part time Studio Manager. Nichola specialist areas are Mono printing and screen printing, but she enjoys teaching the variety of techniques printmaking has to offer.
