When thinking about your aims for the course it’s a very good idea to set a few parameters for yourself. This containment will mean that you are free to explore techniques or ideas in more depth and more freely. For example,  perhaps pick two or three processes that sit together well and get to know them well. You may wish to bring a current project to work on but this is not compulsory.

At the start of the course, we will discuss the practicalities, qualities, and vocabulary each material/ resist/process offers.

You will have an opportunity to consider these in relation to how you are happiest working. You will work in a self-directed way supported by the tutor as needed

During practical activity you may well become involved in peer to peer exchange as you support and learn from each other in the completion of technical tasks.
