OFFSITE COURSE: Landscape Monoprints

This offsite course is taking place at Nottingham Lakeside Arts.

Inspired by the Scaling the Sublime exhibition running at the Djanogly Gallery, you will explore a range of possibilities and mark making within monoprinting. Using painterly, drawing and stencil techniques you will create colourful, textural work exploring the landscape and nature. Great for beginners or those wishing to refresh their print practice.

About the Tutor

Nichola Hingley completed her BA Fine Art Printmaking degree at Manchester Metropolitan University in 2005 and a PGCE Postgraduate Teacher Training at Nottingham Trent University in 2011. Based in Nottingham, Nichola is Leicester Print Workshop's part-time Studio Manager. Nichola's specialist areas are monoprinting and screenprinting, but she enjoys teaching the variety of techniques printmaking has to offer.

Course Structure

10.00am : Welcome / introduction to the technique / printing

12.15pm: Visit the exhibition & lunch

1.00pm : Continue printing and experimentation
