In Conversation with Sue Baker Kenton

£5.00
Location Online via YouTube
Date & Time Recorded live on Wednesday 21st July 2021

This pre-recorded In Conversation artist talk can now be purchased to watch at your convenience.

Sue Baker Kenton is an artist-educator based in North Buckinghamshire. LPW is thrilled to reopen our gallery with her new immersive exhibition Forward Broadcast.

The subject of Sue’s etchings and lithographs is expressed in a representational way, often beginning with making marks and through them, interrogating appearances. These representational works are channels by which Sue expresses her ideas and interest in the figure in historical and contextual imagery, in literature, the media and in film. Sue is preoccupied with the interaction between, and the relationships of, those around her and the randomness of our natures.

Sue spoke to LPW technician Katy Goodrich about Forward Broadcast, and the wider context of the project and her work.

This talk was streamed live from the LPW Studio via Zoom and is now available through a private YouTube link that you will be sent shortly after placing your order.

In Conversation events are £5 / FREE to LPW Members.
